Recombinant Protein Expression & Production

Prokaryotic (E. coli) and eukaryotic (HEK293) expression routes, selected around your protein's folding and post-translational modification requirements — delivered with a Technical Report.

Two expression systems, chosen on the biology — not on convenience

Glycosylation, disulfide bonding and conformational complexity decide the host. We run both routes and recommend the one that gives you a functional antigen rather than merely a band of the right size.

3.1 Prokaryotic

E. coli expression

No glycosylation or other post-translational modification — suited to structurally simple proteins and antigen peptides.

3.2 Eukaryotic

HEK293 expression

Native glycosylation and folding machinery — suited to membrane-protein ectodomains and complex conformational antigens.
